Poetic Excellence

Yecheilyah’s Annual Poetry Contests award a multitude of prizes to deserving poets.

This year's theme is JOY!

We have a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of the poetry industry and give poets a platform to become recognized as artists through this competition.

What it Takes to WIn:

Poems that win prizes are authentically creative and use a variety of literary methods, such as personification, alliteration, figurative language, vivid imagery, and irony, to mention a few.

Poetry that approaches the issue in fresh, interesting, and thought-provoking ways frequently catches the judges' attention. We particularly like poetry that deviates from the accepted definition of the word and instead thinks creatively and from a different angle.
